Welcome to my website. My name is Rizkyana Casonato, you can call me Kiki. I am a full-time mom and blogger from Indonesia who is currently living in Venice, Italy. Here, I write down my stories as a CHD and 22q Diaspora Mom. My son was diagnosed with such complex and extreme Congenital Heart Defect at 1,5 months old and soon we learned that he has a genetic/chromosome disorder 22q11.2 deletion syndrome as well. He is pretty much my greatest inspiration, along with my dear husband.
I am really into traveling and photography and I use these two hobbies to balance my mind. Being a special needs mom ain't easy at all, I wish to tell this experience to the world.
In addition, I am a free and progressive thinker, humanist and feminist. I believe that the willingness to consider new ideas without any prejudice will make the world a better place for us to live in.
